Re: Front-Loading Washing Machines & Dryers
IL's had these... i want to say they were Maytag?!
the dryer was GREAT! very large inside and dryed towels in about 40 mins!!
however, i was NOT a fan of the washer.... the inside ALWAYS came unbalanced and it would stop the washing process and wait until the water was able to balance the inside.... it happened A LOT!

Re: Front-Loading Washing Machines & Dryers
we have the whirlpool cabrio set.. we've had them for about a year and a half and LOVE them! i'm so lazy with laundry, and its amazing how much you can fit in them!! the other day i washed 2 sets of sheets, a queen size duvet cover AND a couple towels all in one load, and they call came out nice and clean. it really saves sooo much time because you can fit so much in each load!

We also have the Whirlpool Cabrio set, which are HE top-loaders, not front loaders. I love mine too.
I didn't want to deal with having to remember to leave the door open on the front loaders so that it dries out and won't smell musty.

Re: Front-Loading Washing Machines & Dryers
We have the LG steam washer and dryer and are happy so far. I did read some bad reviews on them but also on the Whirlpools so I just went with what I liked - I'm the one doing laundry anyway.
I've done about 50 loads and no problems.
