Frozen Fruit
So I bought a bunch of bags of different frozen fruits because they were on sale and DH and I thought we might be able to use them for something but now we are both like .
I was thinking of smoothies or some sort of dessert. Anybody have any ideas or recipes?
TIA

Re: Frozen Fruit
I use frozen fruit for my smoothies ALL the time. I usually do about a cup of Fat Free French Vanilla Yogurt (Stonyfield is my favorite), a half cup of frozen fruit and put it in the blender. It gets very thick so drizzle in OJ as you blend to loosen and get it to the right consistancy.
We also use frozen fruit as 'ice cubes' in drinks.. seltzer, blush wine, fruit juice.
And Frozen Wild Blueberries are the only thing I use to make blueberry cobbler. They are also great thawed a little for blueberry muffins and pancakes and pie!

Re: Frozen Fruit
I use them in smoothies all the time. Fruit, yogurt and some juice. So quick and easy. I let the fruit thaw a bit first.
I also use them as toppings for pudding, yogurt, frozen yogurt or ice cream.
Or you can use them to make syrup for waffles/pancakes. Throw them in a pot with some sugar and a little water and let it simmer and reduce down. So good and less sugar than store bought syrups/toppings.

Re: Frozen Fruit
I like to make berry crisp. Just get a recipe on allrecipies.com - i used one for pineapple crisp but just use it for berries and other fruits.
