Frozen.... Who saw?

Omg!!! Loved this movie. Took DS Sunday and I loved it more than him. The music was great, loved the story, etc. Josh Gad is one of my favs and this role was perfect for him.

Re: Frozen.... Who saw?

We went this weekend and we loved it. I appreciate that although it was a princess movie it wasn't a typical movie where prince charming saves the day. It had a nice message.

We all really loved this movie. The message behind it is great. I highly recommend Frozen. It is on par with Tangled and I love this message so much. I don't want to spoil the movie for anyone so just go and enjoy.

Would this be a good 1st movie experience for a 2.5 year old? I think she'll sit...but wonder if it has any scary really parts like most Disney movies do...(she loves Cinderella and Little Mermaid).

If she can sit through those two movies then she will LOVE Frozen. Really no scary scene at all.

if she can sit through the Ursula scene when she is a giant in the ocean - she will def be able to sit through Frozen there is a very similar scene but that is the "worst" of it!

I took DD who is 2.5 and I loved it and for the most part she loved it too but I disagree about the no real scary scene.

There were about 3 parts that DD found scary - the ship storm scene where the parents die (had to happen its a Disney movie) and the parts with the big Ice Monster thing and a part at the end with the other bad guy . She sat through the whole movie fine but i had to reassure her that things work out okay and this part will be over in a minute. All that being said she was dancing in her seat to the final number but she is quick to point out the ice monster thing in a book my MIL bought her as the bad guy.

Woops... I think I took DS to the bathroom during the ship storm part.
I just meant there's really no evil and scary witch that pops up.

Re: Frozen.... Who saw?

saw it opening night!

Given I have a gray streak in my hair naturally.. AJ kept saying "Did you get frozen, mama?" LOL and of course she says "but is ok, its only your head" Ive gotten strange looks at the grocery store.

She loved it.

We got her a Frozen Beauty kit and separte lip gloss kit for xmas. The beauty kit will be from her uncle and the gloss from santa (in her stocking).

We will HAVE to buy it when its out for sure! and personally I loved the 'message'.

Plus it was just such a 'pretty' movie!

Loved it.
DD is 2.5 and she is scared of everything.
She sat through the whole movie (her first one!) and was not scared at all.

I think we enjoyed it equally!

We did any my kids loved it. I was so impressed with the non-traditional ending Chat Icon

ETA: I agree with parents who said that if your kids can handle The Little Mermaid, they can easily handle this movie.

Loved it!! 4 yr old DS sat thru it better than Planes. He loved Olaf! I also loved that it wasnt the traditional movie where the Princess gets rescued by a Prince.
