Fruits or vegetables

Did you start with fruits or vegetables?

My dr told me to start Kaitlyn with fruit but I really thought he had me start Steven with veggies- I could be remembering wrong though!!!

Derek started with carrots, then we did a fruit, then a veggie...like that....some drs do all veggies first, then fruits...I honestly don't think that it really matters!! She will be getting both soon enough!!


It's so exciting that she's starting "real" food!!!!

ETA: I had to get D's baby book out to see what he started with!!!

it doesn't really matter. I think I started all 3 with either apples or bananas

Thanks! I was just concerned b/c someone said if I started with fruit she would get the taste for sweets and then not like veggies!

Ok, I had the option and I decided to go with veggies because I was afraid once she had the sweeter fruits that she might reject the veggies. I made sure she loved the veggies before the fruits. Who knows if it even makes a difference, but it worked for us!
