Frustrated vent with questions
Thsi is our third month trying. A few weeks ago I knew I would have to go on a business trip Monday & yesterday. I thought I was safe since I knew AF would last until last Thursday. So I have been taking my temps and using CBFM. So here is what happend:
Sunday: Temps 97.5 CBFM: High (we BD) Monday: Temps 97.1 CBFM: High Tuesday: Temps 97.8 CBFM: High Wed(today): Temps: 96.6 CBFM: High
I am so annoyed. My flight was delayed and by the time I got home it was 1am in the morning so we did not BD (sat in the plane for 3 hours before we got in the air and then a 4 hr flight). I was so exhausted. Did I mention I hate Newark airport! I ovulated yesterday, right? Is it too late to BD - did we miss our opportunity? Is it normal to ovulate so quickly after AF? Does anyone else's temps drop after ovulation? I noticed that this happend last month also. It spikes back up after two days.
Help - I am so frustrated........

Re: Frustrated vent with questions
Am I reading this correctly that you didn't get a peak reading yet? You can have several days of high and it's just your fertile time, but you are only about to ovulate when you see the eggie on there.
I'd just BD anyway, it can't hurt!

I agree.... maybe you haven't ovulated yet since you haven't gotten a Peak reading.

No - I have not peaked yet. I thought I might have missed it since I got 4 days of HIGHS in a row and my temp peaked yesterday. Last month I had 1 day of HIGH, 2 days of PEAK and then 1 more day of high.

Re: Frustrated vent with questions
your temperature definitely peaks after ovulation, but you can't just judge it by one temp. you know when ovulation occurs when your temp stays up for consecutive days until you get af. keep bding

Re: Frustrated vent with questions
My temps are scattered before ovulation, but I have noticed that I get a dip in tempetures right before I ovulate, and your last temp was very low, I think your ovulation is coming soon.

Re: Frustrated vent with questions
The dip could be an ovulation dip and you could get your peak tomorrow. What CD are you on?
