FSA question and Tax question
I am planning on traveling down to Baltimore this summer to see a doctor who specializes in Ehlers Danlos. (I have this condition)
We will be spending 2 nights there...
Can I submit the hotel and travel expense to my FSA? Can travel expenses due to medical reasons count towards your actual medical expenses?
Thank you....
Im just trying to get my ducks in a row.

Re: FSA question and Tax question
not 100% sure, but I believe they can. I know I've been reimbursed for mileage for the distance to doctor's appts. Seems to be along the same lines...

Re: FSA question and Tax question
I would contact your FSA administrator. They should have a printable list on their website or a phone number to call.
The Obama plan made changes to FSA (over the counter meds are no longer covered) so not sure if it could have impacted this too.

I was just going to say..they recently changed regulations about what can be submitted..check with your individual company..things are more stringent..feel better!
