FSH level of random day 3 bloodtest

they called me and said your FSH level is 9.

thats it! she didnt even say what it means! it was for my random 2/3 day bloodtest.

what does 9 mean? what do you ladies think about the meds i will be taking now that by 'baseline' is 9?

How old are you?

9 is still considered normal (anything under 10) but high end of normal for Cornell.....I would call Dr G and ask him how he feels about the level.....

i am 29.

i am suppose to go in this friday for the saline infusion sonogram and the sounding. should i wait until then? i am so shocked she didnt say anything else; i have no idea what this number means.

i was so excited to come on and post the level so that someone could possibly give me insight as to what my drugs will be. lol.

From what I understand (like what was said before) anything under 10 is normal/good. I'm 34 and my highest FSH was 7.2-I have wondered how much of a factor age is

I think a lot of RE's/specialist can be like that. It seems like that if you don't ask, they don't tell. I had to ask what my FSH is. He always says 'your normal." I suppose no news is good news
