Level 2 Tonight at OBGYN's Office And A Nervous Wreck...UPDATED

6:45 is my level 2 appointment. I cannot believe it's finally here. I got pregnant via first try with IVF and am expecting one....(we will find out tonight the sex (I hope). I had some spotting along the way so it hasn't been an easy road for me. I also am not feeling movement yet (am 20 weeks) so I am also nervous about that. Almost 4 weeks ago at my 16th week appointment baby looked good but since I don't feel movememt I keep thinking the worse. What's wrong with me? I am overweight and I hear I should ask where my placenta is located and this may be why I am not feeling movement as of yet. Also, sorry..TMI, I've been SO gassy this pregnancy so sometimes I am not sure what the difference may be between "flutters" and gas". I hope tonight comfirms all good. I'll be back on later with the news. Keep me in your prayers ladies.

Thanks a million

For starters our baby is healthy and measuring perfect. We got mostly all measurements except face, and GENITALS. Our baby was so stubborn (like DH) and refused to cooperate. Not only did he/she have it's legs crossed but ankles too. Unreal! We go back in a week to try again. The tech made me nervous saying sometimes baby never gets out of position and you can't get the sex. I wasn't happy with that answer. On to next week. Chat Icon

the movement will come, dont worry! There is such a wide range of when people start to feel it. My sister didnt feel anything with her DD until she was in her 7th month! Also, the baby just might not be that active.

Have a great time at your level II tonight. It is a wonderful experience. You will get to see every possible bone in Chat Icon body! its really cool

Enjoy your Level II, it is a great sono with so much detail! You may not feel it yet but you will probably see your little one moving around on the screen! I don't know if it helps, but I eat a small piece of chocolate before the sonos! The worry is normal!
