FSH Levels during mid cycle peak?!?!?!?
Hi Ladies, I know you all are a fountain of information and I look up to you all bc I am not a strong person and you seem to be all beyond strong have so much more courage than I think I ever will!!! I hope you guys can help me out with a question. I went to my regular OBGYN and se ordered some blood tests for me without telling me that I need to go on any certain day of my cycle, which I later called the office to make sure, and they said I can go any day. I ended up going on day 14, the first day I had my egg on the CBEFM...so therefore I knew I was having an LH surge.... She called me back with my blood test results saying my LH and FSH were on the high side, and asked her wouldn't that make sense since I was on my peak days, and she wasn't convinced...now I'm looking online and all the hormone levels during midcycle peak should be elevated...I'm getting ranges of FSH 3.4-33.4 during mid cycle peak... I'm still waiting for her to call me back with the exact numbers, which I think I may kill someone until she calls me back, but wanted to see if you knowledgeable ladies knew anything and could calm my nerves in the meantime!!!
TIA!!!!

Re: FSH Levels during mid cycle peak?!?!?!?
FSH levels on CD3 are the most important since they indicate ovarian reserve and egg quality. LH should be elevated right before you O. If you have been TTC for a while and looking for some answers, it may be time to see a RE. They really are the experts when it comes to getting you PG and ordering the appropriate tests.

Re: FSH Levels during mid cycle peak?!?!?!?
Thanks. I am moving on to a RE but my regular OBGYN ordered these tests and didn't tell me that I should take it on a certain day even when I asked them...so I took it literally when LH was surging....I got the numbers and they are both pretty high, but within the range for mid cycle peak numbers, so am taking the test over on CD3 if I get AF this time and am not pregnant...I am seriously thinking of chaning my OBGYN since I think alarming me right away and then saying oops sorry and not telling me to take it CD3 is ridiculous.
Thanks again for your help
