FTWMs: who will be watching LOs
I have been back at work since DS was 2 months old, he's been in daycare ever since. We put him on the wait-list when I was 16 weeks pregnant. He started at a less convenient daycare in the same chain/franchise, and we got the call that a spot opened up in the one up the block from us for an opening 1 month later.
ETA: I love that he is there, they are incredible. They work with him on so many things, every activity has a reason. They are so wonderful with him. He cracked me up this morning, as we were walking in he had this HUGE smile on his face and was all excited. He is now 6 months.

Re: FTWMs: who will be watching LOs
We'll be doing each 1 day working from home (DH's is already approved since he's a partner, and I just requested mine, so we'll see if it gets approved), and then three days per week daycare full time!

FTWMs: who will be watching LOs
I have a 4 yr DD and she is in Daycare full time and will continue to be there throughout my maternity leave. Once I go back to work, I will send DS to the same place as DD.

FTWMs: who will be watching LOs
With DD1, when I went back to work, I brought her with me for about 2-3 months for the morning and then my sister picked her up. That was til the end of June. Then my mom was off from work for the summer and watched her. When she went back to work in September, DD started daycare. She was 6m old.
With DD2, she'll be starting daycare at 6w since it'll already be September or October when I go back to work.

Re: FTWMs: who will be watching LOs
For DD- daycare 4x a week (DH will watch the other day) and family every once in a while when needed. My DS will be in a pre- school but I may have to use the on-site daycare at his school for an hour of before/after care if the busing doesn't work out.
Not really looking forward to the cost

FTWMs: who will be watching LOs
My DH is off Thursday and Friday so he'll have the baby those days. My MIL said she'll help two of the other days and that 5th day I'll be taking him to work with me. I'm a nanny and the woman I work for is amazing and said I can bring him as much as I need.

Re: FTWMs: who will be watching LOs
My parents will watch both, although DD is already a handful so I'm definitely nervous about this. DH's mom also comes into town to help as needed depending on our schedules.
DD will be in school for 2 days a week for a few hrs and will be 2 1/2 when I go back to work so I'm hoping that her being a little older helps a bit.

Re: FTWMs: who will be watching LOs
DS1 has been in daycare fulltime since 12 weeks old. DS2 will go to the same place when he is 12 weeks also. During maternity leave we plan to send DS1 part time so that he does not feel slighted that i am home with just the baby everyday, to save some money, but to also keep him in his routine cause I would hate to take him out for 12 weeks as readjustment would be a disaster. He also learns to much there, I would feel like I was holding him back! So part time seems to be the best option!

Re: FTWMs: who will be watching LOs
DS has been in daycare since 11 weeks old. This baby will also be going to daycare when I go back to work at 12 weeks. My parents have 7 other grandchildren so unfortunately we can't ask for any kind of committment to watch the kids from them
