The weather is still nice enough to spend time at the park, maybe fly a kit.
In a few weeks the leaves will be changing and then drives out eat cane be nice, maybe head over to Shelter Island to look at all the colors.
While out east stop for fresh apple and pumpkin pie.
Now that its cooler to petting zoos are nice places to visit.

Go to the Carousel in Greenport, and on the way back stop at farm stands.
