Fun thing to try with DH

I'm almost 22w and have felt my LO moving around for almost a month now. But every time DH puts his hand on my belly to feel it too, the baby stops moving and he doesn't feel anything. I tell him it's because he's so soothing.

Anyway, baby was kicking up a storm today, and for a change, I lied down and asked him to come over and put his ear to my belly to see if he could hear anything. LO kept kicking like crazy, and DH could feel it against his cheek! He was so excited. And best of all, every time there was a kick or a punch, he said he heard a loud "thump". For the first time, I was kind of jealous of HIM - I wish I could hear it.

Kind of silly, but I'd never thought of doing this before and DH was so happy to finally feel/hear something, I thought you girls might want to give it a try.

That's so funny. That's what my DH does too and I actually found myself getting a little jealous too that I couldn't hear her

Its so sweet too bc whenever she isn't moving for him he puts his ear up to my belly and very gently taps a finger to try and get her attention. A lot if times she will kick back in response and he gets really excited that she is "communicating" with him.
