Fun Ways to Announce the Gender
So I have my level two on Tuesday at noon. Both of our families are coming over on Tues night so we can tell them the sex all together. what are some fun/creative ways to announce the sex? One idea I heard was to get two balloons - one pink and one blue and then pop the one that the baby is not.

My sis-in law bought a "boy" outfit, wrapped it and gave it to her parents....
I thought that was really cute!

Re: Fun Ways to Announce the Gender
I heard of someone getting it sealed into an envelope, giving the envelope to the baker, and having them make a cake with the frosting on the inside being either blue or pink!
The couple had no idea what it was until they cut the first piece and then everyone was around to celebrate!

The outfits are cute. Or they have gender specific bibs or outfits that says Grandma's princess for a girl or something like that.

We were going to do this, but our little one didn't cooperate at our level II and we just wanted to know already when we went back 3 weeks later!
But I love this idea, it might be too last minute to have a cake made for that night, but you can make a little cake and get pink or blue filling (or make it with food coloring) to put inside. Then you can reveal when you cut the cake.

Re: Fun Ways to Announce the Gender
You can have subtle clues laying around and have people play a game to guess. A guy at my job did the funniest thing when he came in to tell us what his wife was having. LOL, he said that he would have something either on him or on his desk the following day that would have a hint on it. When he came in we were ALL overexamining EVERY SINGLE THING on his desk/about him/his lunch lol Finally half-way through the day we realized the answer was on his TIE!!!!!! It had golf balls on it.....enough said LOL

i've heard of a thing where you can buy a cake ( or make it yourself) and use food coloring either blue for boy and pink for girl, then when you cut open the cake everyone finds out and eats cake ! lol

Re: Fun Ways to Announce the Gender
A friend of mine did the cake thing a few months ago. Even her and her DH didnt know the sex. They had the Dr seal the envelope and the baker tie up the box. So they found out right along with everyone else.
They said it was a great night for everyone! I look forward to doing it in a few months with our families and friends!!
