Funny Story (Sweets, come on in)
So, we have 2 dogs that live at my husbands shop. They have a huge house with heat, and they live better than most people. Seriously. Our little girl, Lady, got sick, so we brought her to the vet for some tests. They kept her overnight. So yesterday, on my way home from work, I dial the vet to get an update, and here is how the conversation went.
Me: Hello, I am calling to get an update on Lady.
Person on the other end: Lady? May I have the last name please?
Me: Tell her last name
Person: Hmm, Lady? Is that the first name?
Me: Umm, yeah, I guess you can call it a "first name"
Person: Hold on, let me check
Me: OK (wait for 2 mins)
Person: I am sorry maam, we have no Lady here
Me: What? Are you kidding me? I dropped her off yesterday
Person: Maam, I am sorry, but there is nobody here by that name
Me: I dont understand this. She is a 5 year old Rottweiler, I brought her in on Thursday
Person: Umm, Maam, this is a nursing home, we dont have DOGS here
Me:  Sorry, I must have dialed the wring number
