Funny Twin stories?
There aren't very many topics on this board, so I thought I'd post one!
Anyone have funny twin stories to share?
My dad's sister has identical twin girls, when they were little, my dad was playing with one and lifted her up to the mirror. He asked her Who's that? as you do with little babies...and she said her twin's name!

Re: Funny Twin stories?
Well my twins are not here yet...but this is stil funny.
It's well known to me that my DH was quite the little devil when he was younger, never sleeping through the night, writing on the walls, etc. and his cousin (who is like his brohter) was the complete angel. Slept for hours and hours, hardly ever cried, etc.
Well at my 12 week sonogram Baby A was sleeping peacefully, gave us a wave once or twice that was it. Baby B was a whole nother story. Kicking, sitting up, waving. The sono tech was like I have never seen a baby move this much. She was hysterically laughing and this is a woman who does this all the time. She told me "you are going to have quite the little ball of energy here".
So everyone in the family now calls Baby A after DH's cousin and Baby B DH. I told DH that he will be responsible for Baby B once he/she is here. LOL.

Re: Funny Twin stories?
I have a good one. My sister and I sound exactly alike on the phone....always have.
So, when we were about 15 (before we could drive) I was working one night in the summer and my sister went to play miniature golf with her friend. I was working until 9:30 and my mom was scheduled to pick me up and then drive me and one of my friends home. She was then supposed to go pick up my sister and her friend from playing mini-golf.
So...at about 8:30, my sister calls home to mom and says "we're done, come pick us up". Mom says "So soon?" Sister says "yes". So...mom thinks I'm calling from work...she comes to my work (I worked at Mandee's in the SunVet Mall in Holbrook). Anyway....my mom comes into the store and starts yelling at me "why did you call me to come pick you up if you're not ready and waiting outside". I say "I didn't call you...must have been my sister". So...now, my mom is pizzed off and annoyed. She now has to wait for me for 45 minutes to be done....take me and my friend home and then we go get my sister (it's almost 10:00 pm). When we finally got to pick up my sister she yells at my mom "what took you so long, we've been waiting over an hour". My mom just said "don't ask...get in the car".
For about six months after that...whenever one of us called the house, my mother would preface every converstaion by "please tell me your name".
PS. This is before cell phones

Re: Funny Twin stories?
WEll not really funny stories, but coincidence-twin stories. *Many times, we picked out the same exact things shopping. Once we were buying shoes in a huge store in the village. We separated in the store and found eachother a little later with the same exact shoe in our hands another time we both came home with 3 same exact items (shampoo, lotion, etc). *We switched classes at school every single year from 1st grade through high school Some teachers loved it, some teachers didnt oh well for them For a year or two I had missing front teeth, so they just passed a note to the teacher (after he didnt "get it" the whole day to ask the twin to smile It was hard keeping my mouth shut all day, and then I had to act like I was a right when Im a lefty *Another time, I went into her computer class in high school, and I hadnt taken many computer classes yet, and apparently she was the class guru and helped everyone around her all day well her teacher was shocked when I didnt know what to do from the minute I sat down or at least I wasnt offering help to the whole class because I needed help myself *Hmmm, another time she went to my math class on a day I had a test (she's the "math" twin, Im the creative twin ) *We had several classes together in high school and one of us would cut class while the other answered "here" (for both) when he called attendance (he was always in such a fog that he never noticed ) and we were always prepared to say one went to the bathroom if he did notice.
Oh gosh, I can go on and on and on.
We still love to dress alike, we dress our own kids alike, we dress our boys (Who are close in age) alike, we try to get our hubbies to dress alike, its an obsession.
I have met twin moms that NEVER EVER EVER dress their twins alike. I have my own opinion on that, but to each his own I guess (and Ive met many twins that have the "dress everyone alike" syndrome too )
Sheesh by this summer I'll have "triplets" (Boy#3 is due this summer for those that dont know)
OK I babbled enough.
