Furniture Question
So I think DH and I finally decided to go with the Tori set from JC Penney. Only thing is I can't figure out if I like the Cherry color or not. I am a dark wood person (would be thrilled if this came in an espresso color) so I think the cherry is the closest I am going to get. It is so hard to tell without seeing the color in person. Does anyone have pics of JC Penney furniture in the cherry color that they can share from their nurseries.
Also, we are painting the walls yellow on top of the chair rail and white underneath and I was going to go with a sage bedding set. Would this go with cherry furniture?

Re: Furniture Question
I'm having the same dilema as you. If I am having a boy i'm also getting the Tori crib. I originally wanted an espresso crib from Behrs that was way to expensive for me right now. My second choice is the Tori so I figured the cherry is the darkest of the choices. I just wish we could see it in person. I know MichelleR posted her Heirloom crib in a cherry color recently...it's from JC Penney also. That's what i'm getting if I have a girl.

Re: Furniture Question
Here is my cherry crib from Penney's. It's a different manufacturer than the Tori crib, but here's what mine looks like. I think the cherry looks really nice with our sage walls.

My first choice was an espresso set from Pottery Barn but the JC Penney set is going to be $600 less and can go all the way to a full bed in the future. I am just not sure I will like the cherry.

It does look nice with the sage walls. That makes me feel better about the sage bedding.
