FYI - BRU "the great trade in"
1/28-2/1 - BRU is doing their "trade in" promo again. Trade in a carseat, stroller, travel system, highchair, bassinet, play yard, crib or toddler bed and get a new one 25% off!

If I trade in my car seat I can get a convertible car seat or does it have to be an infant seat?

that is a great question. not sure. i would call the store. i didnt see that on the add. i would assume you can trade up, who needs another infant seat when you are trading in your own since its been outgrown  BUT, with BRU, you never do know

you can trade in anything old and get a 25% off coupon for any baby gear, doesn't have to be the same product or category.

My mom got me the Britax Marathon 70 this morning. I traded in a super old seat that I had from the kid who I used to nanny last year. I got the new one for $209

i just wanted to say that its until feb 21
i will be going to get convertible carseats even though i dont need them yet
does anyone know how often bru does this

Hmmm...I want to trade in my carseat for a booster seat...but how the heck am I going to get DD home from the store if I give them my carseat  I guess I could try to go one night when I have the sitter...but if I can't figure out how to put the booster together myself that evening, I'm in trouble, because then I can't get DD to school the next day.

i am contemplating trading in our infant seats for 2 convertible carseats and worrying about new infant seats when the time comes... we dont have the space and it would save us money...
still debating

I want to say they do it twice a year...I got DS Graco Nautilus for 114 dollars last April...But I used the 25% off trade in coupon and a 20 % off store coupon. They got very strict after that with accepting more then one coupon..

my biggest pet peeve about this is that BRU already marks up their stuff 25% so when you get this deal you are getting it for the price that another store would charge...
So do your research.

I have gotten some great deals there...BBB is more expensive then BRU with a lot of their stuff..Haven't been ripped off yet..

yeah, have to look into this but really not sure if it is worth it. id rather just use a bru or bbb 20% off coupon on big items bc that extra 5% prob could have been more of a value to you if you just sold your item on ebay/craiglist ect.

oh! wish I knew! we found the same carseat at target for like 30% cheaper, we thought BRU is such a ripoff after that.
