FYI - please all read
Yesterday my brother and I had to make the horrifying decision to remove our father from life support. Against all odds and hanging on to his last breaths for 11.5 hours, after support was removed, he pasted peacefully.
I pray that no one has to go through what my brother and myself just did and we still have much to do. Things like this certainly make you appreciate life and the times you have with loved ones so much more. Please appreciate all the time you have with your parents. Make sure there is nothing that later on you will say you regret not doing or regret saying. My father and I had a wonderful relationship and I so wish that we could have spent even more time together. So, if you haven't spoken to your parents in a while or told them how much you appreciate them or love them then please take the time you would have made making that extra post or reading something trivial or non important and call them NOW!
Life is too short and precious - embrace it and allow love to grow in your heart!

I placed a photo of her in his arms so in a way he did hold her before he passed.
