Gallbladder removal and chest pain
I had my gallbladder out about 3 months ago. Occasionally o get very intense chest and back pain which I believe is actually has pain. It usually subsides after about 5 minutes but is extremely painful while it is happening. Has anyone else experienced this and if so what usually helps to stop or prevent it.
TIA

Re: Gallbladder removal and chest pain
I don't remember how long it took to go away because I had my gallbladder out 6 years ago but I do remember them saying there would be residual gas pains stuck in my body from the procedure but 3 months seems an awful long time.

My gall baldder has been out for 2 years. I never had any issues, except for the first few months if I ate anything fatty, I had to find a bathroom real fast

I don't remember how long before the gas pains went away, it was a few months though... This was 10 years ago. I will say I'm jealous of you ladies who's bm's got back to normal, to this day if I eat something super fatty/greasy I'll have the runs.

Gallbladder removal and chest pain
Thanks everyone! Turns out I have some other gastro issues. I finally went to dr today after 4 or 5 straight days of cramping and diahrrhea (sorry tmi) they sent me for a ct scan. I am showing some significant colitis; a slightly enlarged spleen and some other big words I can't define. Nothing seems too serious but I am barely eating and will most likely need a colonoscopy.... Ugh deep breaths and happy thoughts
