Garage conversion
Did anyone convert their garage into living space?
We thought about doing an extension but it is a bit pricey and wonder if it is cheaper/better to just convert our garage.
We have a Levitt house and there is no formal dining room.
TIA
ETA: please let me know if you know a good/reputable contractor to do the job.

Re: Garage conversion
I know of a few people who have done that. It is usually made into a media room. You need to install heat from the main and make the space weathertight especially the garage door. Then its sheetrock electrical and flooring. Not too difficult but you should research the permit side of the process. By the way, this is Peabodys husband!
