Re: Garlic Ice Cream
I had it once, and it isn't that good - weird.
But there is this great resteraunt in NJ called 'The Garlic Rose' and everything has garlic. I loved it, outside of the ice cream.

Re: Garlic Ice Cream
There's a restaurant in Beverly Hills and San Fran that serves garlic with everything. They have a garlic martini and garlic ice cream! I have been to both but did not brave those things, however the food is very good. garlic

Re: Garlic Ice Cream
I love garlic and I love ice cream. I'm all for multi-tasking but not with my food.
ETA: Wouldn't make me mad! World hunger, political prisoners, child abuse... those make me mad

I wouldn't eat it! I just had the food. I had a garlic chicken thing that was delicious.

Re: Garlic Ice Cream
I have tried ginger and green tea ice cream, but don't think I would be adventurous enough to try garlic ice cream.

I could be mistaken, but I *think* I actually saw that somewhere...
From NY Restaurants: Unsurprisingly, this ice cream franchise got its start in a city with a scorching climate: Tempe, Arizona, circa 1988. Since then, the red-walled parlors have popped up in over 1,200 locations—retail centers, airports, sports arenas, and street corners—nationwide as well as in Guam and the Caribbean. The company takes its name from the cool granite stone (kept at a constant five degrees Fahrenheit) where the fresh ice cream is mixed with sundry toppings; bits of Snickers, bananas, and almonds can be kneaded into one of a dozen basic flavors, like chocolate, coffee and sweet cream. (For the more adventurous, flavors like wasabi ginger and carrot cake batter are introduced monthly.) Appreciative customers are encouraged to tip. In thanks, the staff—clad in black polo shirts—will belt out lighthearted ditties like A Scoopin’ We Will Go. (Notably, a job interview at Cold Stone includes an audition as well as an interview.) — Erin Coe
I knew they had it at one point

DUDE! I love that stuff. All the good Filipino food markets are in Queens and the Bronx, so I never get any. I think a move is in order.
Where do you get yours?

I love that place, it's down the street from office. We go there about once every couple of months for lunch. Aside from feeling like a big roasted garlic myself, I can taste the garlic for days.

I used to live in San Francisco and had an ice cream place a block away that sold it. Where in Queens can I find it?
Sorry for the hijack, Lolita....
