Gee thanks... NOW you tell me!

Here are the background details:

I haven't been wearing my rings lately because I am having a horrible eczema issue on my ring finger. Yesterday I decided to wear my wedding band on my right hand.

I took my ring off to put lotion on DS last night before he went to bed. I put my ring down on the ottoman in the living room on top of a book and forgot about it until this morning.

Got up this morning and went to the place I thought my ring would be and it was not there.

3 thoughts crossed my mind... my memory is off, my DS got a hold of it, or my cat went to town during the night and it could be anywhere!

I TORE THE LIVING ROOM APART and was freaking out because I could not find my ring.

Called DH and said "I am embarassed to say this, but I took my ring off last night, put it on the ottoman and I can't find it now. I'm so sorry. It's in the house somewhere."

DH's reply "If I were you I would look at the lamp on the table in the living room."

Needless to say, DH put it on the lamp on a little thing that sticks up and he hooked the ring on that and forgot to tell me.

I was SO relieved, yet so annoyed because I spent so much time tearing apart the house looking for the ring!

I guess that will teach me!!!

I'd be stuck between this this and this That was great DH found it and put it somewhere "safe" and ds didn't find it. I'm happy you have it back!
