Geiger Spray Park - Town of Babylon
Does anyone know if this is open yet? I see that it's $5 in the town rec. guide. Is that the same price for non residents?

I am having a hard time figuring it out. Looks like from what I can find it doesn't open till July 13th. I think it's $5 per person cause they have a plan you can buy where an individual plan is $35 and family is $65 and it looks you have to be a resident to buy the plan. But it's not very clear if the park is strictly for residents only

You need to buy a separate pass for this? The town of babylon sticker doesn't get you in? Thats ridiculous considering you can go to the other spray parks without paying extra.

All Town Pools are for residents only. Proof
of residency will be required before entering a pool facility.
Daily Entrance Fees:
Phelps Pool - $6.00
All other Town Pools - $4.00
Spray Parks:
Daily Entrance Fees:
Tanner Park(w/o permit): $25 (Fri.-Sun) &Holidays; $15 weekdays
Geiger Park (w/o pool plan): $5.00
Venetian Shores: Resident Recreation Permit Only
I tried calling the Parks department to ask if it's only open to town residents, and if it's open before the Grand Opening next week....but there was no answer. Not sure if the Town is closed today for the extended 4th holiday.
ETA: page 10 of the Parks Directory says Geiger was scheduled to open June 22nd.

It opened Sat and is 5 to get in for town residents only. You can get a bracelet season pass at Phelps. My hubby is an assistant supervisor for the pools and beaches beachside you have any more questions

Geiger Spray Park - Town of Babylon
No non residents can't. Also no food is sold this year and they haven't built the playground yet. Just the spray park. It has six big water slides and a couple for toddlers. Bring a chair since it has been busy and it is really big. It is twice the size or more of Venetian and tanner

is it 5 per person. Cause in the book it says you can get an individual plan for 35 and family plan it hink for like 60 or 65

the only one that allows non resident is Tanner
And get there early if you want a chair. It is like that at all of them, but more so Tanner b/c of the non residents as well. We have been getting there like 9:30 am and no problem getting a chair. ( they open at 10)
Venetian is residents only. Geiger too.
