General questions about Nanny's if you use one

1) Do you drop your child off at her house or does she come to you?
2) If you bring DC to her house, does she provide food or do you?
3) How many hours a day is she with nanny?
4) Do you pay per hour or per week and how much?

My SIL has a nanny and she comes to them. SIL provides food but the Nanny does light housekeeping and cooking for the baby. She is with the nanny from 9:30am to 7pm and is very inexpensive since she is just coming back into the work force after a divorce. She is only $400 a week I love her- I wish we could afford her.

My DD is going to in-home care in August- She will be there from 7:30am til around 4pm. My person does provide food, if they are eating table food. If not, you provide the formula, breast milk and baby food. We will be paying by the week as well and its $195 a week. The best part about her is she knows she has is good since I work at a school and she gets winter break and spring break. We only have to attend part time one day a week in the summer when I am off- at a rate of $50 a day. Everyone else I met wanted 52 weeks paid- even if they took a vacation when I was working.

1) The nanny comes to us. 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM
2) N/A
3) 10 hours per day, 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM
4) We pay $600/week - standard rate in Brooklyn

3) 12 hours per day, Mon-Thurs
4) We pay $500/week
