Generic of Lovenox
Anyone on the generic form of Lovenox? I've been on lovenox, but got a letter from my insurance company saying that they are going to fill my next prescription with the generic. I'm going to give my dr. a call about it, but I was just curious if anyone was on it. (I know that they are technically the same...)
Thanks!

Re: Generic of Lovenox
i usually get lovenox but this time i was sent the generic brand. its the same exact thing just a generic. my pharmacy sends me the statement on how much it is per month. the lovenox is aobut 925 but the generic is about 850 a month - not that much cheaper. i asked my peri about it on monday and he said its the same exact thing and they finally came out with a generic but its still very expensive bc its a low molecular heparin (whatever that means LOL)
i used to pay a 25 copay for lovenox now i pay 10 copay for the enaxoprin (generic) a month.

Thanks so much!
I definitely thought it would be A LOT cheaper...I'm going to check with the dr, but I'm sure they are going to say it's fine...
