"Gentle" Formula - Anyone with experience?
I am currently using regular milk-based formula for DS but he is always very fussy and gassy. I am giving the Gentle formula a try.
Has anyone found the Gentle formula to make a big difference? I am really hoping this is our golden key.
Any feedback?

Ohhh, ok. Yeah, it was the magic ticket for us. DS was on regular formula til he was 8 weeks old, and my ped told us to switch. Within a week, DS was a totally different baby.

DS is 6 weeks. I didn't ask the Ped, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to try the switch. Took a week huh? I was hoping to have this issue cleared up by tonight

Kristina was on regular Enfamil Lipil @ the hospital....
By the time she was 2 weeks old, I was having NOTHING but issue with her. She was crying A LOT, and having reflux AT EVERY TIME OF THE DAY!
Her ped had me switch her to Gentlease, and I saw a difference w/i a couple of days... Took about a week to get the full effect, but I saw the starting positive effect of it VERY quickly!

I used it, no real difference. I switched to Nestle Goodstart she was a new baby!!! Never had an issue since I switched.

DD was very gassy and fussy. We tried a number of different formulas. She is colicky with reflux and gastritis. Eventually we put her on Alimentum and it made a huge difference. She also gets Mylanta 3x a day.

We switched to "Gentlease" when she was a few weeks old bc she was getting bad gas and had problems pooping. It helped a lot and then eventually we switched to the Nestle Goodstart because it was cheaper/had better coupons and was basically the same thing.

Re: "Gentle" Formula - Anyone with experience?
We had switched Caden fairly early on to the Gentlease (Walmart Brand Too) and b/c it's lighter it appeared to make him hungrier quicker. He was a big eater so I couldnt really give him a bigger bottle so it was a bit of an issue. After some trial and error we found that a mixture of regular Enfamil (also Walmart Brand) and the Gentlease did the trick for us. We did see results pretty quickly....
(PS..the pediatrician knew about the mixture)
