Gerber Good Start Formula
There are two kinds I see
Gentle Plus & Protect Plus
What's the difference?
DD was on elecare and we've sucessfully transitioned her to Nutramagin  We now need to try and transition another level down.
Is Gentle plus really a more gentle formula? Like GentleEase?
We need to see if she's over her milk allergy, but slowly.
I'm so confused with all the different kinds of formulas..

Hi, we used gentle plus. the protect plus has probiotics in it. My Ds didnt have an allergy, but had very sensitive stomach so i didnt want anything extra in the formula. He did great on it!

The gentle plus has prebiotics in it. I have no idea what the difference is, but since BJ's only carries the gentle plus, that's what we went with.

DD#1 was great on goodstart but DD#2 couldn't stomach it and is so much better on gentlease. I think gentlease is alittle easier on the belly than goodstart even though goodstart is a "gentle" formula. that just my opinion based on both my kids. i think every baby reacts differently. i also feel like the one with the probiotics is harder to find.

Hmm, thanks ladies.
I think I'm going to try the gentle plus. We will know within a few days if she can handle it!
I hate to say it, but the elecare & nutramagin are I cannot wait to get her on regular formula!!

we use this  BRU in massapequa has the HUGE cans on sale for $19.99 now! (powder, 38oz!) they are normally like $28!  I think they also have a buy 2 get $4 coupon this week!

oh - to answer the question 
Protect Plus has probiotics
Gentle Plus, the proteins are supposed to be further broken down to make digestion easier

WOW, great price! I am no where near massapequa, but will check my local BRU tonight! Elecare was $50 for the small can.  We went through about 4 a week.
