Getting free pens
In another thread elsewhere, I mentioned getting pens for free. I thought I would post here to rave about 2 companies who have been great over the years. I taught HS and the kids never have pens with them (or so it seems), lol. Ok of course that's an exaggeration, but I give out pens like I own a pen factory. I also get a lot back at the end of the period by honest students.
I once had to place a custom pen order, and they made a huge mistake on the graphic and spelling. They sent me 1000 new pens! So I I got to thinking that they must have surplus.
They do, and last year, I got so many mixed pens for free by calling them. 4imprint and discountmugs were awesome and donated. I explained that the schools were high-needs etc and any surplus they wanted to donate.... They sent like 600 pens!  Just wanted to rave and let you all know. I think they do pencils, too.
