did you ladies hear of getting a free breast pump and car seat
i read in baby bargains that you should try calling your health insurance and speaking with them about getting $ back for an infant car seat if you take a parenting course & if you plan on breastfeeding they will give you $ back for a breast pump.
Did anyone actually try calling their insurance company??? I'm calling today but thinking its probably not going to happen here in NY.

I know someone on here got a free breast pump through their insurance...I don't remember who though..

I've heard about the breast pump but not the car seat part. I actually need to take a closer look at our insurance and see what we are covered for and what we are not.

I have heard about the breast pump - but it was only for medically necessity reasons (I think the baby was in the NICU) I don't think they give money back just to get a pump.

My insurance company covered my breast pump. I got the Medela PIS. SOOOO happy!!

Just call.. my insurance company did not cover the pump or car seat.. but some do, or some offer discounted rates... so it doesnt hurt to call!!!

Okay so i just called and they will only cover the pump in th ebaby is in nicu and they cover Special Formula like GI and stuff like that.. which is good to know about the Formula

My insurance, UHC, will not cover either. Not sure if the baby is in NICU though. I called a while back. They did give me information on places where I might be able to get a discounted pump. I looked into it and they were still really expensive and names I never heard of. Probably hospital grade.
