getting pregnant after C/S (Spin off from TTC)
There was a post on TTC which has me thinking - if you had a c/s with your first child and then have another child how long did it take you to concieve your next child?

why? is it harder to get pregnant after s/c? I had c/s . Not planing another baby for a while but just curious.

Some people are questioning the presence of scar tissue from the c/s scar and whether or not that has something to do with anything.

I had absolutely no problem. I got pregnant 11 mos. after my first c/s on the first try. Then with #3 after the 2nd month, but that one wasn't meant to be...
I've always wondered at a connection, but evidently (and thankfully) it wasn't an issue for me.

I had a c/s and after a few yrs of infertility BEFORE the c/a ...I Got PG naturally....so I dont think there is a correlation...unfortunatly I had a m/c...but the c/s did nto impact implantation or anything, my M/C was chromosonal related.

I got pregnant our 2nd month trying, but I miscarried. I got pregnant again the 5th cycle after the m/c.

Had no issues getting pregnant again after my first (he was a c/s). Pretty much happened on the first or second month we were trying.

I got pregnant the first month we TTC'd both with DD and with this pregnancy. I have PCOS too so I was really surprised.

it took me awhile to get pregnant the second time. i did have a lot of scar tissue but it was my uterus connected to my bladder so i do not think that would affect fertility

got pregnant 3 months of trying, but unfortunately that ended in a miscarriage. i waited another 3 months post d&c and got pregnant on the first try with DD#2  .

C/S with DS 1 in May 07. Got PG with this LO in May 08 on the first try.
It took me years to get PG with DS 1.
