GHI and Dr.B girls

i was there today and was informed that ghi is not a participating doctor..or something like that..i was very confused by the whole thing..

basically i can still go cause i can go out of network...but i have a ins copay??

so today i did not have to pay the 30 dollars i usually do and she said i will be getitng checks sent home from GHI and then i will bring them to the office with what i have to pay as it wills ay on my EOB

will my payment go up by a lot?

can anyone explain this to me like a 5 year old

Oooooh....I got a check from GHI for them the other day, and I was so confused. So they are no longer a GHI participating provider?

Check with your ins co what your our of network coverage is. Then ask what Dr. B will be billing them. Ex, I pay 20%, Aetna pays 80%.

I don't know anything about getting checks back, but I have a different ins co.

I was there on Saturday and I wasn't told anything, but I just checked my claims on-line. I will be receiving checks and I checked GHI and he is no longer listed. This stresses me out.
