giants jersey help

I want to get DH an authentic giants jersey for christmas this year. My problem is I have no idea who his favorite player is. Do I have to come clean and tell him about his christmas surprise so I can find out his favorite player? I really want to keep it a secret! He has no clue he'd be getting one. Do you think it's possible to buy one and if he doesn't like the player so much we can exchange it for a different jersey? Also, can anyone recommend a website or a store where I can purchase a giants jersey? Thanks!

u could probably go to the giants website to order an authentic one...make sure it has the numbers that are sewn on.....can u just ask him who his fave player is...or have someone ask him for you? manning is popular -umenora (sp?) is also real good...i have a strahan jersey but he retired but was awesome!

hmm... that's a tough one.

i doubt that he would hate any name/number you got him!

i would pay attention to the next few games you guys watch together. see if he mentions any of the players a lot.

If you are going authentic, I would go with a retired player; Bavaro or Lawrence Taylor maybe.

I was at the game this weekend and people are wearing Shockey jerseys because it's authentic and they spent $$$ on it. I think it's odd to wear a jersey of someone who doesn't play for the team anymore.

Or you can get him Manning since he signed the most expensive contract in the NFL. He should be around for a while LOL.

I wanted to get DH a Jets Jersey for his bday last year, but he either had his fav player already or I wasn't sure how long the quarterback would be there. Wound up getting him a personalized jersey with our last name on it.

what about getting an official jersey without a player on it now and then let him pick the player that you can add on after Christmas?

it may sound silly - but does DH know about this website and this board? Mention to him that we were all talking about the giants and fave players of all time and you were curious as to who his fave players are...

i mention this board to dave all the time! if necessary - we can even start a post for you so he can see it and move the convos about players there for you!
