I was thinking when dc comes to visit the baby in the hospital....what are you giving DS?

We will probably do a small gift in the hospital but he is also getting a new big boy lamp (RR crossing) for his room. I'm not going to bring a lamp to the hospital!

I think I am going to give it to him when we bring the baby home. It's a leap pad2. I wanted to get one for him anyway.

I am wrapping a few little things for dd in my hospital bag. One is a photo album from Amazon, like a big sis brag book. My mom will print pics for her. Two books about being a big sister. And a minnie mouse action figure set to keep her busy. I also have to buy her new bedding so I may wrap that for her too.

No experience myself but a co worker had her older child bring the new baby a gift ... Stuffed animal... They went shopping together (mom and older kid) to pick it out
Then the new baby came with a gift for the older child .... It was really cute pictures of the older one carrying the gift bag into the hospital and the newborn "handing" the older child his gift bag
Just a thought
