Gift for newly engaged couple
My SIL just got engaged last week. DH and I are meeting them out to celebrate. I sent her some flowers and a "congrats" balloon, but wanted to do a little something more when we see them.
She got a binder already. Nothing too crazy or creative since I WFT, have a 2 year old and we're meeting this Fri night. LOL!
Don't have too much time to do a lot of research.
Just wondering where to go for something cute and somewhat creative. Where do they sell the "wedding countdown" clock?
maybe a cute pic frame?
know any place? kohls? Target? etc
Figured I can run on my lunch break

It's really for the woman, but when I just want to give something small, I like to give a pretty little ring holder for the new engagement ring.
Something like this

Bride/Groom Christmas ornament?
Hallmark probably has some cute stuff.
Kohl's has a frame w/ 2 rings "welded" together.
Maybe get a silly book - like the grooms guide to wedding type.

My SIL bought me a ton of the most recent wedding mags. I really appreciated that. You could also get her a subscription to 1 or 2 of them.
My MOH gave us a engaged frame she saw in hallmark. I still have the photo we took the night we were engaged in it.

How about an engagement Christmas ornamnet? Or something they can use as a keepsake..I know things remembered does things like that, or maybe a frame like you said

Someone gave me a magazine with all the wedding recpetion locations in the tri-state area...I loved it!

Personalized wine glasses is a nice idea. I used to give those as gifts to newly engaged couples!

We're Jewish so the ornament is out, but I got some other things.
cute bridal stationary, bridal organizer, magazine and a bottle of champagne.
