Gift for OT and Speech Therapist

any ideas what to get DS's EI therapists? They see him each once a week and I know do pretty well since we get the statements. LOL

I was thinking $10 gift card to DD and a little something else. Maybe cute clipboard or bag or something. Thoughts?

I also have 2 boys in daycares so lots of teachers to get for... all well deserved, but BOY does it add up

we only had one therapist that came once a week and that was for summer only... we gave her a $25 GC since she was only with AJ for 6 sessions.

therapists appreciate anything....

i know vera bradley has some really good cheap ideas....

im trying to keep costs down as well... we have this year

for DS: 2 teachers, 4 aides, 3 home therapists, 1 bus driver & 1 bus matron

for DD: 3 teachers, 3 babysitters

ughhh... christmas gets so expensive.

I made donations to UNICEF in DD's therapists' names. I picked things that related to their discipline. In her OT's name I made a donation for pencils and notebooks for schools, in her PT's name I made a donation for soccer balls and a pump for refugee camps.

They were very touched.

My only issue was that UNICEF became VERY AGGRESSIVE about getting more donations so I had to insist they take me off their list.

I got them scarves from Target, and may put a scented antibacterial gel from Bath and Body Works (they use those all the time between kids). Under $10 for each.

EI is paid by the county so it is a predetermined rate of pay for therapists...often taxes have to be paid separately. Anyway, check land's end overstocks. they have great tote bags at great prices and there are always coupons.

DS has 1 ABA home therapist.
And at the center he has 1 lead teacher, 1 speech therapist and 3-7 ABA assistants.

I'm getting the home therapist a treat basket.

We are leaning towards sending this one to the center as a whole for the ABA assistants and getting GCs to for the speech therapist and the lead teachers for DD.

DS receives PT through CPSE and I give her a $25 gift card.
As an OT myself, any gift is appreciated
