Gift ideas for 4 yr. old boy

I gave my nephew this Moon Sand thingy
Target has it
for his 4th birthday and he LOVED it.

My son loves all kinds of matchbox cars, his baseball mitt and glove, games like Chutes and Ladders, CandyLand, etc., arts and crafts things, and of course, his Leapster L-Max game system.

Damien likes all this stuff too plus he loves puzzles and play swords.

Do you know if he likes Thomas the Train? He seems to be popular with 4 year old boys...
We got this for DH's friend's son who turned 4 in may and he totally loved it.

My nephew is 4 and some of the gifts he picked out were:
Uno Attack
Go Diego Go Water Backpack (it shoots water -even DH thought it was pretty cool!)
A huge beach balloon that you hook up to the sprinkler and shoots water out of different little holes
Games for his leapster video game thing
