Gift ideas for my friend's bridal shower? UPDATED with new question!!!!!
Some of you may remember my post about getting my friend one of the "Future Mrs.. " sweatshirts. I did some thinking though and she's not really into the idea of changing her name. I am actually not 100% sure she is going to.
So, I considered just getting one that said 'bride' .. Should I do that? Then there's the issue of I don't know what size would be best and if it's embroidered, it can't be exchanged.
I thought maybe a tote and get "bride" and the date of her wedding embroidered on it..... does that sound like a good idea?
Any other ideas?  TIA!!

Ok, I decided to take the honeymoon basket idea!!!!!! 
She is going to Italy at the very end of May. What kinds of things could I include in the basket? I have never been there and seldom travel so I have no idea!!

tote sounds like a great idea. you could fill it with stuff like white flip flops, a mini travel sewing kit, clear nail polish or whatever things a bride might need...

honestly, im getting married in July and a 'Bride' tote would probably ONLY be used for my honeymoon if that.
i would suggest maybe a honeymoon basket. my sis did this for me for my shower and it was AWESOME! she filled it with sunscreen, flip flops, g/c for royal caribbean snacks etc.
i like the idea of just a bride hoodie. she can wear it to get ready in the AM. what about the Victoria Secret hoodie?

my friends and I always do a panty line for each other- you take about 10 feet of clothes line and pin cute undies for the honeymoon to it- you could also put a bride tank on there too

This is what I was going to suggest also. Also, maybe a white sweat outfit to get ready in that morning (doesn't have to have her FI's name on it). Gift card for a spa to get a message before the wedding? Or to get her nails done and a pedicure for the wedding day?
Ohhh, one of my BMs took wood boxes and personalized them with paint, my bridal shower invite, wedding invite, and miscellaneous wedding themed decals. One box was for the cards from my shower and one was for cards from the wedding. I thought that was cute.

Maybe a Fodor or Frommer's book on Italy. Those always come in handy. Maybe some cute luggage tags.

I like the idea of a travel book for Italy. Italian wine. The webiste classybride has cute luggage tags and passport holders. A nice journal and/or scrapbook to document the trip. A wine journal.

I always have a tough time with travel books because its too muich...maybe do your own "time out" guide for each city shes visiting?
