Need Bridal shower gift ideas from the BP....
Bedding and luggage is out. Already have a flatscreen on the "possibile" list.....
Need big ticket suggestions. Pretty big BP....

Where's their honeymoon? Maybe you can pay for a spa treatment there, or a helicopter ride...something like that.
Wedding night...book them a suite at a hotel. Arrange for room service, massages.
Their whole cookware set (not exciting, but generous).

Keep 'em coming.
I guess I should clarify....
they don't have a house yet, so grills and china would be too far in advance for use.....
We thought camcorder, but they just got into the whole digital camera realm, they said they probably wouldn't use it soon.
We are tossing around the HM basket idea too, but really wanted to shy away from GCs, and give them something to remember and have years from now.
This is so difficult!!!!

yeah, but nothing big. Her family has laid claim on bedding, luggage and the flat screen!!! Ummmm, what about the BP????? We're trying to get the flat screen back.
They just bought a laptop.....

How about silver candlesticks? Or maybe the entire silver set. Silver really lasts forever and can become and heirbloom and maybe you can get a tray or some other item engraved.
Maybe a surround sound system to go with the flat screen?
Maybe a honeymoon packet that includes the camcorder

We also got holiday baskets for each of the holidays with decorations and stuff, like door mats, christmas mugs, valentine dishtowls...all stuff like that for all the holidays - this was a great gift and for multiple people it may be eaiser to find teh stuff....

My brother's girlfriend put together a "Newlywed Date Book" that included gift cards for restaurants, movies, etc. She included quotes about love and marriage, and we can use the book as a scrapbook (if we ever get around to doing that.)
