Gift ideas that are not toys or experiences..
My DDs bday is in May. She is turning 2. We are toy'd out since Christmas! I am trying to think of things to ask for that may not be a toy or an experience (bc those tend to be pricey). I have a few outdoor things like a water table and swing set. We had a baby pool but I think she is ready for something else. Any recommendations for a pool for a 2 year old?
Grandma #1 got her an easel.
Grandma #2 is getting her an outdoor cottage for the yard.
Some other ideas I had are...
Beach chair -Can anyone recommend one?
Bathrobe
Umbrella/Rain coat
Anything else out of the box we can think of??

Not sure how old your daughter is, or how big your backyard is, but for the holidays we told family we want to buy a swing set so a lot of people contributed to that.
I know you said no toys, but since May starts the warmer weather, maybe get some outdoor toys? A small pool, tball set, basketball hoop, bike etc.

Someone gave us this pool and its great
inflatable pool
We blew it up and kept it inflated in our garage...filled it early in the morning the days we planned on using it so that the water was a little warmer

We have the PBK Freeport Umbrella Chair and have been very happy with it. I have given as gifts as well and always got great feedback.

DD got a bunch of different hair accessories and loved that. She also got a bathrobe and slippers, and a nightgown with a matching one for her doll (my generation brand from Target).

Dd got a small back pack at that age that she loved.
A step stool, dress up clothes were huge starting at 2, bigger hooded towels (we love the jumping beans ones from kohl's), jewelery box, dvds. Aside from regular dress up stuff she's obsessed with her princess night gowns and now that it's too cold to sleep in them she wears them as dress up over her clothes. In the spring they'll go back into the pajama drawer.

LOL I am due in May with DD#2 and Greek Easter is in May this year so I am having a mini meltdown on how I am handling everything. Trying to think ahead. Bc the email from my MIL yesterday asking "what date DD #1s bday party will be bc of the baby coming" was so calming.. lolol

I had a custom growth chart made on Etsy to hang in my son's room.
I recommend the shop I used:
Sweet Dream Murals
But there are tons of vendors on there -- however, I loved working with SDM because she did such a beautiful job. Hand-painted, a real artist. It's such a keepsake!

A rolling suitcase! He has used it for vacations, sleeping over at Grandparents houses and he loves to be a big boy and roll it himself. He's 5 now, but has had it a couple years and it's gotten a lot of use.

Lots of places do summer classes. My daughter turned 2 in April and some family members paid for her to take a dance class for the summer session (1x/week for 6 weeks) at a local dance studio. I think it cost $80 or something like that.
And then other people in the family bought her a dance bag, ballet shoes, leotard etc.
She loved it!
The schedules and prices for summer stuff will probably be out by March or April so there's more than enough time.
