Gift wrap or bag?
How do you feel about it?
I am a strictly wrapping paper girl. My ribbon, bows and tags all have to match the wrapping paper.
DH makes fun of me. I make it an evening every year. I get all the presents and supplies together in the living room after the tree is up, put on a Christmas movie or cd, make a fire in the wood stove and wrap. Of course, with the Santa hat on.

For birthdays I do it up right, ribbons, wrapping paper, etc. For xmas I usually shy away from all the ribbons b/c I have to travel with the presents and they get crushed....but still a wrapping paper girl!

i love to wrap! i prefer it at xmas because i think all the wrapped packages look really nice under the tree.
For other occasions though, i'll do the bag route if its for something small or odd-sized just because its more convenient.

I do all the holiday gift wrapping at our house. Everything gets wrapped, and everyone gets different paper. If one person is getting multiple gifts, I may wrap all of theirs with the same paper. I just write the To: From: with a Sharpie marker on the paper.

I am a wrapping paper girl myself as well. I used to work at a card store and got really good at wrapping presents

if I have the time, I go crazy wrapping. I wrap, add bows, cards, tinsel LOL anything I can! I even curl the end of ribbons with scissors --a throwback to my HAllmark days!

For kids I HAVE to do wrapping paper and a bow.  It's 1/2 the fun opening it!
For adults if it's not a box, or clothing that I put in a box then it probably gets put in a bag for the simple fact that they're reuseable and I never see ppl recycle wrapping paper anymore.
But all boxes still get gift wrapped...

Depends on the shape of the gift - cylindrical or a lots of random angles - it gets a bag.
Other than that - paper, bows, tags.
eta: I usually wrap at my office. There's a big conference table so it's very easy! I pipe Christmas music into the conf room speakers. Sometimes I enlist the help of a co-worker, especially if I'm backed up. Love my job!

I only use bags for silly things like socks or underwear or something that is too awkward to wrap....
My mom and I usually have a "Wrap Session" where we put a fire in the fireplace, some cheesy movie on TV (or a good Law and Order marathon), make some coffee or tea, and wrap away into the night...I LOVE it!!

I'm mostly a wrapper but, like others posted above, certain items that are a strange shape, get bags.
I'm not a big bow and ribbon person - I don't have the patience.

when i travel with my stuff i will stuff newspapers into the bows and take them out as im walking to the door!!
