Gifts for your boss?
What are you getting your boss for the holidays?
I don't know what to get my boss except maybe a bottle of Bombay Sapphire (I don't even know how much it is), becuase every time we go out he orders a bombay sapphire martini.
Is that appropriate?
What are you getting for your boss?

Re: Gifts for your boss?
I work for a family owned and run company and I always order the husband and wife something from Tiffany's. It's become kind of like a tradition.

I have the same dilemma. My boss has everything she will ever need. I have another boss too that I don't have a clue for.

Re: Gifts for your boss?
This is a hard one for me every year. I have a new boss this year and for the life of me no idea. I was thinking of getting a nice set of hand lotion and whatever else from L'Occitane. Not sure if she'll like it but I sure do. lol

Re: Gifts for your boss?
My boss is Jewish, so I do a Hanukah gift for him and he gives me a Christmas gift
Last year myself our junior attorney got a gift card for a fancy restaurant in his town for him and his wife. The year before I had a big gift basket of Kosher goods sent to his house for his family.

This is a dilemma every year and this year I have 2 new bosses. I think for the woman I am going to get her a name brand scarf and glove set and the man will get a leather bound notebook.

Lisa...what is this Magic Frame you speak of? Seriously...it sounds great. My boss gets teased for not having a single picture in her office meanwhile all of us have our spaces covered with pictures. Maybe I could do this?

I never buy my boss anything
I didn't know people did, but I work for a large company so I don't think anyone here does

I am giving her a box of L'occitane creams. She works so hard and deserves some things to pamper herself!

Re: Gifts for your boss?
I usually organize the office gift....I make everyone chip in a certain amount of money, and I do all the shopping. Last year it was a GC to their favorite sushi place, a gc to their favorite Sunday brunch place, and 2 villeroy & boch german handmade christmas ornaments.
I am NOT doing that this year. I'm the only one that put any thought in, so the rest of them can go scratch.
I bought a yankee candle Christmas set, and I'll be getting some Victorian ornaments. (They have several Christmas trees - one of them is Victorian-themed, and they only started it last year, so they have very few ornaments!)

Those are really good ideas!
Do you think the bottle of gin is appropriate? What should I add to that?

Re: Gifts for your boss?
I had a 25% Friends and family coupon for L'Occitane and used it to buy some cute small gifts or stocking stuffers. I really like this company!
