Girl name suggestions? (longest name post ever?)
I'm sorry, I know we play the name game often but figured it couldn't hurt to ask. We're having a 2nd little girl in April and are totally stumped. Anything either of us has loved fell through because it had an awkward nickname DH came up with or an odd pop culture reference or we know/know of someone with the name who we prefer not to associate with our baby lol. DD#1 is Holly Grace and DH has said we'll have to name #2 Grace Holly because we know we like those names. 
Things we've loved and ultimately ruled out so far...
Stella (Seinfeld reference)
Annaleigh (dirty nickname)
Lucie (dirty nickname)
Ruby (family member Ruben goes by Ruby)
Sylvie, Kenley, Nina (DH doesn't like)
Olivia, Harper, Zoe, Lily (became too popular)
It's not a requirement but I would love to incorporate Ann as a middle name or part of the first name (Andie is still an option but we're not in love, Annaleigh was an option until DH ruled it out). Also like names that end in "y" or "ie" but that's not a requirement either. Anyone have ideas?

We are planning to name our little girl Ellinore but she will go by Ellie until she is old enough to object 
I also like the names:
Ella
Alison (Can go by Ally)
Emma
Elizabeth (also Ellie)
Callie (but don't like any of the long variations)

I don't think you should worry about Seinfeld references in 2014! Some other names:
Julia (Julie)
Ruth
Evelyn
Cassandra (Cassie)
Susannah or Deanna (call her Ann/Anna)
Lila

we were in the same boat... we're having boy #2 in april also & the previous names we liked when i was pregnant the first time around, we hate now. thankfully we finally came to a decision not too long ago!
if we had a girl, we were going to name her Katherine

Lol, my husband and his friends were big Seinfeld fans back in the day apparently so this is how they would inevitably call for my daughter. I know it sounds ridiculous but welcome to life with DH. It's never boring.

LOL I though you meant with her friends/classmates. I can see it being an issue with adults

The Seinfeld reference even goes further..Stella is really from a streetcar named desire

When I hear that name it makes me want to say it like that too but from street car named desire..which is obviously where Seinfeld got it from.
It is a pretty name though

I had DD on Christmas Eve and DH and I went back and forth on what to name her for hours after she was born.
We ended up naming her Eleanor Eve. DH calls her Ellie - he isn't fully sold on Eleanor lol.
I am not a fan of common names so it was difficult to convince DH to put my choices into the mix.

I have similar taste in names...we are Team Green but some contenders for this baby were Lucy and Ruby, but we have decided on Stella.
That being said, my first DD's name is Josie.

I originally wanted Leanna for a girl's name but DH vetoed it. We compromised and agreed on Leah Alyse.
