Girls That Use Generic Formula
Free Sample from Sam's Clubs "Member's Mark Formula". It's the same as Target and Walmart formula, made by the same manufacturer.
I received my sample and it's a flat packet that makes 32ounces. Not bad for free.

FYI, it's $19 and change for a 51.4 ounce can at Sam's.

Each name brand has a different manf.

It isn't the same manufactor, but that doesn't really matter. The ingredients and nutritional properties are almost identical.

It isn't the same manufactor, but that doesn't really matter. The ingredients and nutritional properties are almost identical.

The consistancy is a little bit different, but it is really the same exact thing. Target and Wal Mart's generic (and Sam's Club, I guess) are the generics of Similac Advance and Enfamil Lipil.
My ped asked me to keep using Gentlease with DS even though Target just came out with a generic. So, I am sticking with his wishes (plus my friend who is a NICU nurse has been swiping it for me anyway )
The generic is about $12-$14 for a big can whereas the name brands are about $10 or so more than that.

Of course they are! Just like RX generics are the same as name brand 
Some people are afraid to try generic brands for fear that it's not the same as name brand. Label for label, they have the exact same ingredients. Not to mention the amount of money you save. A small fortune!
