Girls Trip for Summer
My best friends and I will be turning 35 next year. We all have young kids and want to get away for a few days to celebrate our b-days. Probably August 2019. We want some place beachy and really nice. There will be 6 of us. I know it's hurricane season so the Caribbean may not be our best bet, unless it's out of the hurricane belt. Any suggestions? We don't want to go TOO far in case we need to get home to one of our kids. TIA!

Girls Trip for Summer
Aruba, Barbados - neither get hit by hurricanes (generally).

Re: Girls Trip for Summer
Thanks for the suggestions! We've done MIA already and I did Aruba last year and my other friend just did it in August. I do love it though. I don't think any of us have been to Barbados.
I remember people posting about the Sandpearl on here...might've been you Nell! Would that be a good place? Are there a lot of kids there? I was looking at a 2 bedroom suite that has 2 queen beds in each room. Wouldn't be too expensive when split 6 ways.

What about the Margaritaville resort? That one looks nice too

The one in Hollywood Beach Fl. I have been to both that and Sandpearl. Both were great. If you are looking for girls trip nightlife, I would chose Margaritaville only because you can Uber to Miami for a night out. Samdpearl is amazing but no real nightlife. If you just want to relax though, it's great. Depending on when you go, yes, there are kids at both. More at Sandpearl i would say...

Re: Girls Trip for Summer
And if you want to check out Margaritaville, they are celebrating their 3 year anniversary so I think they are running some good specials right now.
