Girls who are in that "in-between" phase as far as maternity clothes.....
What are you wearing???
I bought a couple of those Bella bands....so that helped in the pants department. But I think I'm still too small for maternity tops. I want to buy baby doll stuff from regular stores, but I don't want to waste money.
Everything's too tight!!!!

Embrace the maternity pants!!! I'm telling...elastic waistline is the best. I might never go back.
I had to start wearing stuff a little on the early side because I just refused to keep buying larger pants. Most of my maternity pants are a little big. I just keep pulling them up. Not the most attractive, but at least I am more comfortable.
Good luck!

I honestly wouldn't buy many regular baby doll tops now because your body is going to be growing so much that you may be better off just getting cute maternity tops that you can let out as you get bigger.
Try to buy shirts a few sizes bigger but with a tie or something so that you can still wear it now. You will feel so much more comfortable in the maternity clothes also!

i am totally out of my regular pants at this point. they fit on the legs and butt, but are too small on the waist so that when i sit down i feel squeezed and very uncomfortable.
i can still wear some of my regular tops although i look visibly pregnant and i am starting to look a little funny in them my plan is to get to target and old navy tomorrow after work and buy some tops that i can wear to work.

ugh i hate getting dressed these days. ive been wearing long tops and pants with the bella band but today i couldnt wait to get them off so i may be in full fledged maternity pants this week. but since its supposed to be warm this week, im also hoping to start wearing dresses so i'll be more comfortable.

Re: Girls who are in that "in-between" phase as far as maternity clothes.....
Im not really having much of a problem...I bought a few maternity tops and few regular tops that are long. I started wearing maternity pants even though they were a bit big because I wore the bella band w/them that held them up. The few maternity tops that i bought actually lay fine over my belly now, and are not too big, yet when I put the pillow on w/them in the store (to make my belly huge) they also fit pretty well...I think its just they way they are made, so you grow into them.
I bought some long regular tops at Gap and Target.
I bought some good starter maternity tops at H&M...they are long but size small, so I may grow out of them eventually. HTH!

Re: Girls who are in that "in-between" phase as far as maternity clothes.....
My one suggestion would be to buy mostly maternity type things and not things that are just in larger sizes...either way you arent going to be able to wear them after the baby any way...I have found that maternity clothes are much more flattering than things that you could buy that are just big.
When I was pregnant with my eldest..some almost 14 years ago..they still put pregnant women in..bows and sailor suit type things...it was horrible! I was 20 years old so I opted for big Ts and sweats...Now there are so many great maternity clothes...

Re: Girls who are in that "in-between" phase as far as maternity clothes.....
I went to Motherhood outlet and bought a pair of knit shorts and knit capris for a total of $20.
Target had knit gauchos in the Jr dept (I think it was Jrs) for $9.99. They didn't have XL, so I bought XXL, which is a little too big, but for around the house I don't care.
Try going for knit bottoms. I have 6 weeks left and I'm STILL in between a maternity MED and LG
