Girls who are planning their own shower
I am helping my mom and the rest of the gang plan the shower but we are on team  ...What color scheme are you girls going with if you are involved?
I am not a big fan of yellow and green, green I love but yellow i am not a big fan of. I was going to do the traditional pink and blue, again not my favorite. Of course i love pink and green and blue and green but they are either really girlie looking and boyish looking! I think I might do pink, blue polka dots, and chocolate brown?? Just wanted to know what everyone was doing for their color scheme...

i was going to suggest green and brown... i actually just redid my bedroom with these colors since the baby will be staying with us for a while since we live in tight quarters and im actaulyl loving the green and brown combos. we even painted the changing table green and putting brown baskets on it. and were on team

I am doing an outside backyard party. my colors will be vibrant, using lots of fresh flowers.
this magazine cover was my inspiration...I came up with the ideas this weekend, actually

That is beautiful...we are also doing an outside party under a tent. I want bold colors but each person (mom, sister and in law) keep being like it's a baby keep it traditional, I hate traditional! lol

that is why I am planning it and putting their names on the invites.
anyway, they know I don't listen.  and will do what I want regardless.
you could still do maybe a pale green and creme as the table setting (cloths, plates, etc)
but bold it up with the flowers.....
I am all about my wedding this week since my anni is on thurs  , and I had some pale greens and blues with bright and light pinks in all the flowers in my BP)
so you still could conceivably do both.

We are having brighter colors like teal, purple, yellow and green. My mom and I found baby plates that had these colors and bought some solid stuff in those colors to go with it. We are team as well.
