Girls who had a Lap done..

Hi ladies,

I am hoping someone here can shed a light on what's going on with me. I had a lap done about 6 weeks ago. I finished my first AF since the procedure about 10 days ago. This AF lasted for almost two weeks and I had 2 days of scarily heavy bleeding. I called my OB and she said that was normal so that was fine I guess.

I decided not to use OPKs this month (obviously a big mistake in retrospect ) but I figured O time would be somewhere between Tues-Today based on previous cycles. Last night I started spotting so now I am super confused. I tend to spot a few days before AF so I am wondering am I getting it AGAIN after only 10 days?? Is it possible that I did ovulate and the spotting is some sort of residual matter from my ovary (they removed a large chocolate cyst from one ovary)? I tried to google this but I could not find much information.

Has this happened to anyone before? I just really wanted to start TTC again and it seems like my body is never going to get to that point.. This whole process is SO frustrating and no one I know IRL really understands or knows much about this.. Thanks in advance!

My AF was terrible the first month after the lap! Scary! I think I recall the dr telling me that random spotting was normal too. I remember getting a random small clot and no spotting then it was gone. It was weird. I think your body just gets all out of wack from the surgery. I'm pretty sure I o'd late the first cycle too. Also, if you are Oing the spotting can be from that. Some women spot at o time.

Thank you! I appreciate the info. I don't want to call my doc for every little thing but I guess if it keeps on i will call her for peace of mind.
