We flew to Montreal (tickets = paper) and at the hotel I arranged for him to have an in-room massage...I gave him a gift certificate for said massage (on paper).

we saw somewhere that the first anniversary gift can also be a clock... so we bought each other matching bulova watches and had htem engraved with our initials and our wedding date....

he was surprised, and I am pretty sure he liked it.

we just did dinner
but I did let him buy that mustang that he wrecked that day (in my name)- so techincally I gave a paper gift- the title
which he didn't get till after he wrecked it
