Girls who have DIGITAL wedding albums:
How many pictures, total, are in your album??
And, how many pages are in the album? I'm wondering because I'm doing my album, finally, and I have a certain amount of pages but (since it is digital) more than one picture can go on a page.
Just curious to see what people say their page/picture ratio is.

ok, that makes me feel much better.
so, if you have 100 pics and about 24/25 pages it would NOT be totally weird if i had like 160 pictures for my 75 page album - would it??

Dani, we used the same photographer and I used well over 100 pics and my album came out gorgeous!!!
I have about 3-5 pics per page..Some pages have more than 5 pics

When you say digital, do you mean that the pictures were from a digital camera or that the actual album is digital?
Also, who was your photographer? We used Duet and we have as many as 4 or 5 pictures on certain pages. We also have some pictures that are "background" pictures.
If you FM me your e-mail address, I can e-mail you the proofs of my album that our photographer sent to me (if I can still find them  )

I don't remember the exact number of pictures but I think it's just over 100. We have 24 pages. (BTW, by "page" I mean full page layout -- so left and right of the center of the book. Hope that makes sense...)

For the first time in a LONG time I'm really excited about my album. I was so in love with my proofs and so happy with everything from my wedding - I was full steam ahead toward getting my album/video done and then Kenneth got hurt and even though one thing had nothing to do with the other the wind was completely taken out of my sails and I just didn't care anymore. I literally had to *force* myself to do what needed to be done to get the ball rolling on this (and that was with added pressure from my fam)... but, I have to say, now that I have handed in the stuff for my video, chosen my pics and am thinking about the outcome - I'm really, REALLY excited.
...and that feels good

wow - thanks! and to answer your question - i mean the album is digital. we, like you, want multiple pics per page and we would like to have some pics as "background" pics. so, in true anal danielle fashion, i typed up a list of "great background pics" and then my house, vin's house pics, church pics, flowerfield pics, cocktail hour pics, reception pics, dancing pics. i put the number of the pic and a brief description of each pic next to the number lol. i was asking b/c when i was done choosing i felt like i had a lot of pics -- part of my problem, and it is a good problem to have!, is that i love ALL of my pics - one is better than the next so it is overwhelming. so, i was trying to get an idea of how many pics per page go into a digital album -- b/c my album is going to be huge with 75 pages -- and from what others have told me, i should have no problem fitting the amount of pics i have into the album! which makes me delighted.

I just looked and I'm in tears looking at your album because of your husband - I'm so inspired by how he overcame his injuries and got married -- I instantly thought of Kenneth and I started to picture, and hope for, the day where he will do the same thing. And seeing that was just what I needed today -- it always seems like just when you start to feel down and get worried you see something or someone tells you something that instantly lifts you up and you feel totally positive again. That today, for me, was seeing those pictures. Thanks so much!

I got to choose 60 pictures. I forget how many pages it is. I like how it turned out though. They did a great job with the layout.
I was able to add in my vows and the words to our first dance song, etc.

I have no idea how many pictures but ours has a lot. We were able to fit them even though we did not want to cram them. We were making a miniature version of the same album for our parents, so we had to be careful how small the photos would become. I think you can easily fit those pictures in 75 pages without it looking crammed. As it turns out, I like our parents' little albums the best. They are so easy to take out and show people.

that's so cute!
my parents each get their own album - so MIL got to choose her pics and my Mom got to choose her pics - 30 for each of them and the album is 6x8.
then, we each get "brag books" which are mini versions of our albums! they are the perfect size for a pocketbook.
and our album is 75 pics - it is BIG in size (width/length) but i forget exactly how big - i'm excited!! thanks for all the input - i have no worries now that it will fit very nicely. TY!

I'm glad our pictures lifted your spirits today. It's amazing what a picture can do. Well you know where they are if you ever need lifting again
