Girls who take BC pills
Do you take the 4th row of pills or do you just leave them and stay pill free for the fourth week untill you start a new pack?
Is there ANYTHING beneficial to the inctive pills, I wonder, like vitamins or something or are those just basically "candy"?
Hmmm, I made a poll for this but it didn't post...

I take them but bc it helps me keep track of where I am in the week - otherwise I'd forget!

I never did but now I am on LoEstrin FE and i take them because they contain iron.

Most times, it's just sugar I believe. Just to remind you to stay in the habit for your next pack, to keep you on track. You really don't have to take them.

Exactly- because people like me would fall out of the habit of taking a pill everyday very quickly if we didn't use them. I am TERRIBLE!

Yep, exactly, that's the only reason to take them. If you're really good about sticking to your routine and knowing when to start taking the pills again, you can skip them.

I toss them. The doctor said they have no vitamins or anything good in them.
I don't know why they DON'T put some vitamins in there...

I don't take them, but I leave the finished pack on my bathroom counter as a reminder to get a new one.

I am on seasonale and I read the book
it says are a suppose to take them- they lessen the lenght of your period to 3 days
so I would read what comes with the pills
this was news to me!

Nope, I never take them and it always freaks my husband out to see a whole row of pills unused in there. Every, single month I tell him the same damn thing, "They're just sugar pills!"

Thank you, ladies! I think I will just toss! I will go over the instructions that came with the pill but i am pretty sure it has no iron or vitamins of any kind...
